Tahoe road cams.

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Tahoe road cams.

Might be of help, for short notice trips. Web cams from the Tahoe area from CalTrans. South Shore, and Donner. Don't know if you guys have this site. Also, a lot of other cams for the flatlands.

Lots of snow dumping in the area today! Snow tires required on most roads in the Sierra in the Tahoe area! Heck, we've even got several inches on the Reno valley floor right now! More expected overnight, so if you're gonna be driving in the area, bring your chains!

Same here MadeinTahoe. I got the snowblowing done just as it turned to rain. I'm glad my wife talked me out of selling the snowblower when we moved to Carson! It took me 20 minutes to find my Sorel's though.
