What ever happened to Bearlover?

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

The thread asking about sleeping in "cooking clothes" and bears made me think of Bearlover....

Has anyone heard from him? It seems to me that last time he posted was over a year ago as he was getting ready for an early season backpacking trip... he had mentioned some concern about a stream crossing.

I sent him an Email a few months later asking about that trip, but I never got a response. I don't know why, but it worried me.
