Kennedy Pass, Granite Pass snow levels

Does anyone know the current conditions on these passes and if snow shoes will be required?

The only info is snow above 9000ft as of 5/01/07 according to the
nps site.

I spoke with the Cedar Grove SDR today and he said one of his trailhead rangers hiked up to Granite Pass via the Copper Creek trailhead 2 weeks ago and reported only patchy snow below the lip.

Thanks skibum. That's good news. Wonder how Kennedy Pass is. I'll be there in 3 days so will report back.
