Mountains in Colombia

Post by kd6swa »

I had the opportunity to go into the mountains east of Bogota, Colombia recently. In the picture the elevation is 10,300 ft above sea level where I am standing. Notice how green things are and even though it was overcast, the sun burned through and I had a red forehead!

Please gives us more pictures and info on your trip to the mountains in Columbia, that is not an area most of us have ever visited.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
