Wow that's awesome. And Muriel is beautiful, not a terrible dayhike, and usually free of big crowds. Great choice! I think I've camped about 100ft from where you guys gathered.

August 12th? I guess we'll have to share that date with you. Congrats! By the way, I was impressed by that location in my only visit there and have been meaning to return. I was very close on 8/9 and 8/10, but lacking time to wander over to Muriel.

seanr - thanks and I'm glad you're willing to share the date :) we've fallen in love with the lake over our few visits there and always enjoy going back (especially when there is still snow!)

I can't imagine a better way to get married. I hope you are as happy as my wife and I. Our 2nd anniversary is Sept 28 2016.
