Death Valley?

Kibbie Ridge will be snow free by Memorial Day this year I think, but not always. I have been there countless times, mainly early season. It's strange: early season the whole area will be dry except high forested Kibbie Ridge. One year I was able to bypass it by using a cross-country route from Kibbie Lake. Beyond the ridge it is usually pretty dry, though the water is high.
The southern Sierra will be completely dry by M-Day: I have done numerous backpacks into Kern Canyon, Kern Lakes and into SEKI in mid May even in the wettest years.
Did you make it to Taboose Pass , if yes, what were the conditions
like(pictures)?
You also mentioned May 5, where will you be going, and if you go
could you please give a conditions update with possible pic's?
Im going out for 6 days and I havent made up my mind up yet
on where it will be(9th-14th).
Thanks
