camping sites near base of Mt. Haeckel

Post by Sierra_Summits »

Was planning to photograph Mt Haeckel and was curious about any camping sites at the lake below Haeckel Col. I would be approaching it from midnight lake.

Thanks!

There is a sandy campsite on the northern side of Lake 12345 below Haeckel Col.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

The cluster of lakes below Lake 12345 will give you a chance at getting a mirror reflection of Haeckel in there waters at sunrise and with some monsoonal moisture moving in starting Thur-Sun, you may get some primo light.
