What does your HST Avatar represent?
Just wondering over a cup of Peet's coffee..
What does your HST avatar represent?
Does it mean a favorite place, a great moment, a big fish, a scary moment of a class 3ish move?
Mine represents a great day at Evelyn Lk after a successful day of fishing.
Interested,
Russ

Re: What does your HST Avatar represent?
The last day of a trip in 2008, my last trip I had to take off time from work to complete. It was with my cousin who is about 20 years younger the me and it was the first time we had seen each other in about 30 years. Remarkably we got along great as he tolerated my slowness but like others (some on this forum) didn't treat me with the respect someone my advanced age deserves!

Mine is from a favorite absurdist shirt (which I still have). It makes me think about two of my best friends that had the same shirt, carefree college days, lots of adventures and time to do more or less as I pleased. Pretty much the halcyon days of youth.

Mine is about the way the mountains bring me close to God.
Just an old musician who loves the Mountains.

Mine is the biggest fish I've caught in the High Sierra. Giant char yes, Giant brookie no.
Since my fishing (etc.) website is still down, you can be distracted by geology stuff at: http://www.fresnostate.edu/csm/ees/facu ... ayshi.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

On Cloud's Rest, having the last dinner of a 60-day trip in 2013. I hiked down the JMT, explored Kings Canyon high country, and then took the SHR back to the valley.

The era of my youth and innocence, I suppose.
