Where did John Muir visit?

A place to explore the natural setting (geology, flora & fauna), people, constructed infrastructure and historical events that play and have played a part in shaping the Sierra Nevada as we know it today.

Where did John Muir visit?

Post by norcalhiker »

Is there a book or website that summarizes he Sierra travels?

I know he went to Yosemite multiple times and visited Tuolumne. He also climbed in the Ritter Range, spent time in Kings Canyon and climbed Whitney.

Scroll down to California for a list.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Have a safer backcountry experience by using the HST ReConn Form 2.0, named after Larry Conn, a HST member: http://reconn.org
