X-C route Forester Lake to Big Arroyo and Moraine Lake

Post by jrad »

Has anyone taken off from Forester Lake (south of Little Claire) and climbed over the peak due east (11800 feet) and down to the connector to Big Arroyo and thence onto and off of the Chagoopa Plateau x-c?

I am calling my tentative route "Forester". One may note I also have a route marked "Chagoopa" which is roughly (very roughly) where indicated as a route to get to Moraine lake. I've done that 3 times over a span of 42 years. No exposure, just a little steep at times, some brush; not bad. "Use trails" appear near the top.
