Hi all. Just found this forum and it is awesome. Anybody have any predictions on how the snowpack will be around Ediza Lake around July 4th?

Hi Flarelate,

Welcome to HST! You should be fine, try camping on the southern end of the lake, out of the forested sections which where the main campsite's are located (western side), but even these areas may be void of snow, especially if we get a long stretch of warm temps. Hopefully will get some TR's or conditions reports from that area in the next few weeks. viewtopic.php?f=34&t=13936

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Have a safer backcountry experience by using the HST ReConn Form 2.0, named after Larry Conn, a HST member: http://reconn.org
