Took a short 2 night backpacking trip to beautiful Little Lakes Valley. Still plenty of snow in the high country. Days were pleasant, nights were quite cold.

Very nice, enjoyed the photo's. Nice to see the conditions at that elevation.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Have a safer backcountry experience by using the HST ReConn Form 2.0, named after Larry Conn, a HST member: http://reconn.org

Great photos! Looking very beautiful up there. Is the road already opened to the Mosquito Flat TH?

No, it is clear as far as the pack station. The gate was actually open, but obviously unplowed and still some heavy snow cover, especially in shaded areas. There is probably a foot or more of snow in the parking area at Mosquito Flat. Snow was to almost fully covering bear boxes.

I was using a slightly older MontBell U.L. Super Spiral Hugger #1 with 800 fill. Exact model no longer made. Believe original rating was 15, but rerated to 20 in later years.
