Rock Creek/Mt. Dade/Hourglass Couloir Conditions

Post by artrock23 »

Although it's early in the year yet, I'd like to know what the conditions are in the Rock Creek area, particularly Mt. Dade and the Hourglass.

If anyone has been up there recently, or is planning to anytime soon, please share your beta. Thanks!

The coverage is good, top of the Hourglass is a bit thin and windswept. On an adjacent slope there was a D1.5 (40' wide, 150' running length) windslab avalanche a few days ago.

No I just started thinking about it, thanks soo much it is a choice between Dade/pipsqeak or North/conness if the marina fire doesn't stop me again
