As of 10:15 this a.m., there is about an inch or 2 of slushy white stuff on the ground, here in So Lake Tahoe!

Dumping here in Mammoth - already 3" on the ground, in town (7800').

Great news! They are expecting a foot of snow at higher elevations today.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Have a safer backcountry experience by using the HST ReConn Form 2.0, named after Larry Conn, a HST member: http://reconn.org

We ended up with over half a foot at lake level (6,200').

Well, we're off to a better start than last year!! I'll bet Tioga Pass road will permanently close for the season on either the 13th or 14th prior to the next storm.
