Black Mountain, 9/20/15

Post by HikingGeek.com »

Out for an early Sunday morning hike with co-workers and Riley. For some in the group, it was their first hike – not exactly an easy one to start with, but they did great. Most in the group wanted to hike the North Fork of Big Pine Creek with me, so I used this trail as a way to gauge what sort of shape they were in (photos will be posted soon).

Nice photos. I read in your blog about the dumbbell in the backpack; funny stuff.

Lol, thanks! She's one of my gym buddies and I knew she was too stubborn to admit her pack felt heavy:

Nice photos.

Maybe this report should be moved to the "Beyond the Sierra Nevada" section as I think this section if for Sierra Nevada Backpacking / Hiking / Camping.

Thanks Kathy. I'll keep that in mind the next time I post pics from outside the Sierra.
