Women who hike...and the men who fear them

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Not wanting a woman to pass you is just plain stupid. ](*,) The scenery immediately improves! ;) I married a woman who could outhike me any day of the week and carry just as much. :smirk:

Thanks Vaca Russ - I know what you and OR mean, but more power to the women. I love to hike with my wife. She sets my slow pace. I am not in a hurry.
