(saint) Diane has died.

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

I know what it's like to lose someone you love and I know that no words can help so I wont say any.

My condolences Tom. You have shared a bit of what made her so special...and I am sure she lives on in many ways in your life.

So sorry. Life sure is not fair, is it. Condolences. Hopefully with time the mountains will heal the hurt a little bit.

My condolences for your loss of a true soulmate.

I want to thank the following people for responding - riown, Maddog61, LMBSGV, Fly Fuy Dave, gary C, DaveFly44, 87TT, ERIC, Vqcq Russ, Copeg, and Shawn. Whether they like or respect me or not, they showed class and character. Good for each and every one of you.

When I saw on Dec 18 that oldranger had lost a friend I couldn't respond or even read all his entry. My wife was really sick and would die on Dec 21.

The following people failed to send their condolences. balzacom, giantbrookie, Markscor, oldranger and Wandering Daisey. I hope there is nothing so bad happining in their lives that kept them from doing so. balzacom and giantbrookie responded to old ranger's loosing a friend and oldranger didn't loose his wife and best friend.
