whats in your headphones?

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Ya man, here is another one that is usually in the CD player when going to the mountains:

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

From funk to ganja

If you don't know where you're going, then any path will get you there.

Still have about 700 albums, 60's-70's-80's funk/soul from my dj days. There are several mixed CD's in the car.
Here is another 2 favorites:

Sometimes your driving in or from the Sierra, and just want to listen to some silky smooth songs, especially if your significant other is riding along side of you: ;)

Epic thread.

Regarding N Young; might surprise some of you 'older' dudes that, now at the tender age of 40, I've seen him in concert nearly a dozen times.
