whats in your headphones?

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Try not to resist the changes that come your way. Instead, let life live through you. And do not worry that your life is turning upside down. How do you know that the side you are used to is better than the one to come?

A short little parody of Kashmir to keep with the dominant theme.

And something a bit more serious, on the folk side of things, following my earlier Bert Jansch post. Quite fitting for these forums.

Ashery, I'll check out your posts in a minute, but needed to cram this in.

Ashery, your generation played 33rpm at 45 rpm. Our generation played 45 rpm at 78 rpm. Same thing, only.....different.

Ahaha. That solo wasn't even particularly unlistenable, :p

...And you're putting me in the mood for some Zappa.

But I already had this link copied, so have some actual Zeppelin, :p

That's a great song, Hello In There. Much respect for John Prine.
