Re: whats in your headphones?
Hi Jimr, Thanks for reminding us of Gordon Lightfoot's wonderful music. Can I return the favor by perhaps reminding you of the beautiful voice and music from the too brief life of Nick Drake? Here is one of my favorite songs, (and one I'd love to have with me in the mountains someday):

and another I just found: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2JjJPDz3EE
Note the inscription on his tombstone: 1948 - 1974 ....

Tonight, another friend of mine just lost her husband. To both of my girls who have lost their beloved husband these last few months, my heart breaks for you.

Re: whats in your headphones?
Nice to hear that old classic again, thanks Jimr.
Did you ever hear the folk music of Joe and Eddie? I grew up on it, as one of my parent's favorites. My dad could sing, and he rated Joe Gilbert here as one of the best voices ever. Tragically, he died young (racing his new sports car), just when he and his great friend Eddie were beginning to make it big. I still have that same 1962 album, and it gets more time in our house than any other.

Now to haul myself out of the dark ages, I'll add a new find via the young gen.-- "Audioslave," formerly "Sound Garden." I guess they were underground/indie bands from the Seattle grunge era. I like this song, and the guy's voice a lot. Too damn bad that he too died young.

We saw some of our favorite groups perform in the past few months. It's cool to see that some of the original member's voices are still comparable to what they were back in the 70's.
