Man, I go out of town for a day and come back to all this....Mav has even jumped on board.
I'll probably get hammered for this one, but there is no denying his genius - and the story behind the music is interesting.

Now you're getting in to the good stuff!
I have a Sony Walkman MP3 player loaded with the B-52s, DEVO, the Cars, the Police, Oingo Boingo, Madness, the Specials, the Clash, the Sex Pistols, on and on....

We will need to wait until the concert CD/DVD is released. Note that 'Down by the River' lasted 22 minutes alone.

Could have been worse and picked Chris Farley's "livin in a van down by the river"

You're never too old, to rock and roll, it you're too young to die
Shawn, I agree about Barry. You can't deny the body of work he produced. Most don't know the sheer number of commercial jingles he wrote that carpeted our t.v. sets.
I saw Oingo Boingo, sort of, at (I think) the Roxy theatre in Hollywood in the early 80's. They were playing upstairs to a small crowd of less than 100 all sitting in folding metal chairs. I really tried to like them, but I fell asleep instead. I just didn't get punk or new wave, so I went to light jazz for several years.

Hobbes, I've seen 4 out of the 6 pictured in your post. Never saw dillon or young. Saw CSN W/O Y
