Is this Vogelsang Peak?

I'm trying to ID a peak I took a few weeks ago from Glacier Point (this isn't the picture). I used my zoom lens for that. I found a wide angle view I took a few years ago. So is this correct?

Yes. I checked the topo map and the line-of-sight as well as the form of the peak (outline, W face, and spur to the N) look like this peak should be Vogelsang.

Thanks for checking! Looking at pictures of Vogelsang Peak online, it just doesn't look the same.
Thanks again. I can now post my picture from last week and call it "Vogelsang Peak"...LOL!

I haven't looked at the topo, but it doesn't look like Vogelsang to me. Post your zoom pic and maybe it will look familiar.
Also, next time you're at GP, they have a topo display that ID's the peaks.

It is Vogelsang Peak. Perfect time to use Google Earth, here are 3 snapshots
at different zoom lengths from Glacier Point. Gotta love Google Earth!

Here's the pic (in the light):
I found a crude drawing listing the featured peaks, and this "said" Vogelsang Peak. I'm thinking of comeing back up for the next full moon.

Yes, I recognize Parson's peak, so your original guess of Vogelsang is correct (as others have verified). Sorry for the confusion.

No problem.
I have to ask....which one is Parson's Peak? Can you ID anymore peaks referencing my close-up photo?

Well, I guess my peak recognition skills are in question, but I believe Parson's is the peak to the right of Vogelsang. It starts as a flat area then rises to a peak on the right. I'm sure Maverick or someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

I think Parson's peak is on the right side of Parson's plateau in the picture.
