Looks like we might have to get used to winters like this one if the sun goes into "hibernation" and we have another Little Ice Age:

Although it sounds like the impact on climate isn't well understood yet.

Yeah I have thought about that for awhile now. The Sierra as we know it is over if the planet cools down again.
