Well we got at least half a foot of the heinous white stuff last night at my house on Kingsbury Grade, here in So Lake Tahoe. I suspect the East side Deso THs; Echo, Fallen Leaf, Emerald Bay and Meeks probably got the same or more. The low temps are not predicted to be above 32 'till Wednesday. This is really going to slow the melt.

Just curious, how far up the grade is your home located?

I've given up on ice fishing, waiting in eager anticipation for ice out. I'm only a mile up the grade from Hwy 50 on the Tahoe side. It is the start of the "banana belt" of the East shore of Tahoe, which gets much less snow than the West shore.

I posted a link to some photos that Frank took in the Winter Sports section. Judging by the tree well of a very large pine, looked to be 6' deep, varies of course.

Hey Rlown & TahoeJeff
Come with me and my son. if you need an extention for the drill let me know. This year, I may have to add a second one. Very deep snow pack on the lakes. It snowed on me this morning in the Cucamoga Wilderness(So. Cal.),solo trip. Fish are getting hungry, probaly still frozen. Can't wait till the lakes clear.
