Just in case the warm weather will be bringing anyone out to the valley:
Yosemite Valley, CA-- Starting next week, there will be traffic delays in Yosemite National Park.

In order to stabilize a rockslide area on the El Portal Road via Highway 140 through Mariposa, crews will be working in the park this Monday, April 4th.

Traffic will be delayed up to 30 minutes at a time, from sunrise to sunset, Monday through Friday. A maximum 15 minute delay will take place during the commuting hours of 6:30 am to 8:30 am and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

The delays will occur near Dog Rock, approximately 0.25 miles east of the Arch Rock Entrance Station. The project includes rock scaling and bolting to help stabilize an area that slid onto the roadway last December.

Traffic delays are scheduled to finish prior to the April 23rd Easter weekend.

Thanks OZ for the news flash, hopefully this warm up doesn't cause any flooding
in the valley, there was a recent news story about there being concerns of the stress
a big warm would cause, because of the high snow pack, on the aqueducts in the
central valley.
