As of this morning, Mammoth Mountain reported 589 inches of snow for the season. The magic 600, and the highest snowfall in recorded history, is just around the corner.
Very impressive.. now let's hope it doesn't all melt at once.

right, otherwise will have floods in the Valley like in 96.

I was looking at the dam data lately. Looks like most are open 5 times normal for this time of year. I guess a great levee test.

Can you look and see what the levels were in 96-97 when we had the floods?

Possibly worse than '96. Was on a DWR conference call earlier this week where comparison to '82-'83 was brought up more than once.

promising, '96 was bad enough.

Incredible. And to think I haven't even gone skiing once this season :eek:
