Hikin' Mike Update

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

As bad as it seems to be, I suppose it could always be worse!

Hopefully I can be walking, without a cane/walker by October, but we'll see what happens.

Well, my surgeon took me off the schedule for having my left knee done on June 30. He wants to see me in August. The good news is that he said I'm healing well and I'm now scheduled to do physical therapy. twice a week. Hopefully I can get back on the surgery schedule after August.

Looks like no hiking until next year... :(
