TEMPERATURES ON TRACK TO RETURN TO AVERAGE AUGUST DAYTIME HIGHS THROUGH MOST OF THIS WEEK, THEN DIP A BIT OVER THE WEEKEND. SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS IN THE HIGH COUNTRY THROUGH ABOUT WEDNESDAY THEN THE WHOLE AREA DRIES OUT FOR AWHILE. ON FRIDAY AND INTO THE WEEKEND AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH DRAGS THROUGH THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST LOWERING TEMPERATURES AS PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED, INCREASING WINDS AND KEEPING THINGS ON THE DRY SIDE.

FOR THE OWENS VALLEY:

TODAY: MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES. HIGHS AROUND 96. WINDS S 10 - 15 MPH.
TONIGHT: MOSTLY CLEAR. LOWS IN THE MID 50S. WINDS SW 5 - 15 MPH.
TUESDAY: MOSTLY SUNNY. HIGHS AROUND 97. WINDS S 7 - 11 MPH.
TUESDAY NIGHT: MOSTLY CLEAR. LOWS IN THE MID 50S. WINDS S 6 - 10 MPH.
