Welcome Obiwan Canoli

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

I do long day trips now. I carried a pack last week up Whitney, spent the night, and hiked out the next morning. My hips were swollen for 3 days. The pack was 26 lbs, and my back and hips reminded me why I don't do it anymore. But I can dayhike to wherever you all go. :D

Welcome Obi and Hello Flip,
Sol here. Just wanted to let you know that I do check in here periodically. Not so much at TT. It would be great to do a Sierra fishing trip. I have a not-so-new email address. PM me and let me know your email too. Obi have you talked to John of late?
