TUESDAY, 05-MAY-09, MORNING REPORT

SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENTS WILL TIGHTEN THIS AFTERNOON AS AN UPPER LOW MOVES ALONG THE U.S. - CANADIAN BORDER. THIS WILL CREATE A ZONAL FLOW THROUGH OUR AREA AND BRING WITH IT SOME GUSTY WINDS TODAY AND TOMORROW. SKIES WILL BECOME MOSTLY CLEAR ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY WITH TEMPERATURES STARTING TO RAISE TO ABOVE NORMAL. BY FRIDAY, AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE BUCKLES THE ZONAL FLOW WITH WARMING CONDITIONS THROUGH THE WEEKEND THROUGH OUT OUR ENTIRE FORECAST AREA.

TODAY: MOSTLY SUNNY AND BREEZY. HIGHS IN THE LOWER 80S. WINDS NW 18 - 22 MPH G 35 THIS AFTERNOON.
THIS EVENING: SOME CLOUDS OVERHEAD. LOWS IN THE UPPER 40S. WINDS NW 5 - 15 MPH G 20.
WEDNESDAY: MAINLY SUNNY. HIGHS IN THE MID 80S. WINDS NW 10 - 15 MPH G 20.
