FORECAST FOR THE OWENS VALLEY, MAMMOTH AND MONO COUNTY

TUESDAY, 24-FEB-09, 7:15 AM

MOSTLY SUNNY TODAY THROUGH OUT OUR FORECAST AREA WITH COMFORTABLE DAYTIME TEMPERATURES. A SHORTWAVE IS DUE TO DROP SOUTHWARD INTO BRITISH COLUMBIA ON WEDNESDAY AND THIS WILL EFFECT THE MONO COUNTY AREA WITH A CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION THROUGH THURSDAY. OTHERWISE CONTINUED DRY CONDITIONS FOR THE OWENS VALLEY THROUGH THIS TIME PERIOD. WEAK RIDGING BUILDS IN ON FRIDAY SO IT LOOKS TO BE MOSTLY DRY FOR EVERYONE, THEN UNSETTLED WEATHER RETURNS OVER THE WEEKEND ABOUT SUNDAY.

FOR THE OWENS VALLEY:

TODAY: MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES. HIGHS IN THE UPPER 60S. WINDS S 6 - 9 MPH.
TONIGHT: PARTLY CLOUDY. LOWS IN THE LOWER 30S. WINDS NW 6 - 8 MPH.
WEDNESDAY: MOSTLY SUNNY. HIGHS IN THE LOWER 60S. WINDS SW 6 MPH.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: MOSTLY CLOUDY. LOWS IN THE LOWER 30S. WINDS NW 5 - 7 MPH.
