FORECAST 14-JAN-09

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

THE 'BIG DRY' WILL CONTINUE AS A VERY STRONG RIDGE IS ANCHORED OFF THE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA COAST. ALONG WITH THE DRY WEATHER, WARM TEMPERATURES WILL PREVAIL. ON SUNDAY THE UPPER RIDGE RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR MILD WEATHER SHIFTS INTO THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST. WITH THIS WE WILL GET A BIT OF COOLING AND SOME MID AND HIGH LEVEL CLOUDS. DOES THIS MEAN A CHANGE IN OUR WEATHER IS COMING LATE NEXT WEEK? STAY TUNED.
