FORECAST FOR THE OWENS VALLEY, MAMMOTH AND MONO COUNTY

INSTABILITY WILL DECREASE LATER THIS EVENING LEADING TO DRIER CONDITIONS FOR AT LEAST THE NEXT FEW DAYS. TEMPS WILL SETTLE IN AT OR ABOUT SEASONAL NORMS THROUGH THURSDAY WITH AFTERNOON ZEPHYR WINDS EACH DAY. SMOKE AND HAZE HAS DISSIPATED SOMEWHAT, BUT THIS MAY CHANGE AS THE TELEGRAPH FIRE FLARES UP OR NOT. A SLIGHT CHANCE OF T-STORM ACTIVITY WILL START AGAIN LATER IN THE WEEK AS THE FOUR CORNERS RIDGE BATTLES WITH ANOTHER EASTERN PACIFIC TROUGH STARTING ON FRIDAY.

TODAY FOR THE OWENS VALLEY: SUNNY SKIES WITH SOME SMOKE OR HAZE. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 90S (AROUND 99) AND EVENING LOWS IN THE UPPER 50S. SOUTHEAST WIND 6 - 16 MPH GUSTING TO 22 LATER IN THE DAY.

TOMORROW FOR THE OWENS VALLEY: MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES. HIGH TEMPERATURES THE UPPER 90S (AROUND 99) AND EVENING LOWS IN THE UPPER 50S. SOUTH WIND 11 - 14 MPH GUSTING TO 18.

TODAY FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES: PARTLY CLOUDY WITH WIDESPREAD HAZE WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE OF ISOLATED T-STORMS THIS AFTERNOON. HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 76 EVENING LOWS AROUND 46. WEST WIND 10 - 15 MPH GUSTING TO 30. CHANCE OF PRECIPT 10%.

TOMORROW FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES: MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES WITH SOME AREAS OF HAZE. HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 77 AND EVENING LOWS AROUND 46. WEST WIND 5 - 15 MPH.

TODAY FOR MONO COUNTY: PARTLY CLOUDY. AREAS OF SMOKE IN THE AFTERNOON WITH ISOLATED T-STORMS POSSIBLE. HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM 81 - 91 AND EVENING LOWS 40 - 50. WEST WIND 10 - 20 MPH GUSTING TO 30.
