FORECAST 17-JUN-08

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

TUESDAY, 17-JUN-08, 7:04 AM

SOUTHWEST FLOW CONTINUES IN RESPONSE TO A HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM HOVERING OVER MEXICO. A FEW SHOWERS MOVED IN OVER THE SIERRA CREST YESTERDAY AS MID LEVEL MOISTURE CREPT UP FROM THE SOUTH. THAT RIDGE IS GOING TO STAY IN PLACE THROUGH FRIDAY SO STATUS QUO FOR THE WEATHER UNTIL THEN. TEMPERATURES WILL SHOW LITTLE CHANGE FROM DAY TO DAY FOR AT LEAST THE NEXT FEW DAYS.
