FORECAST FOR THE OWENS VALLEY, MAMMOTH AND MONO COUNTY

AN UPPER LEVEL LOW MOVING THROUGH WASHINGTON AND BRITISH COLUMBIA WILL BRING GUSTY WINDS TODAY TO THE MONO COUNTY MOUNTAINS AND VALLEYS, CLEAR SKIES WITH TEMPS WARMER THAN YESTERDAY. THE OWENS VALLEY WILL SEE BREEZY CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON WITH SUNNY SKIES. THE LOW WILL TRACK INLAND ON SATURDAY SETTING UP A SHORTWAVE RIDGE OVER WESTERN OREGON THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK. THIS WILL GIVE US MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES, SOME AFTERNOON BREEZES AND TEMPERATURES ABOUT NORMAL THROUGH MONDAY.

TODAY FOR THE OWENS VALLEY: SUNNY BLUE SKIES. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE LOW 90S AND EVENING LOWS IN THE LOWER 50S. NORTHWEST WIND 10 - 15 MPH GUSTING TO 25 THEN DECREASING TO 5 - 10 LATER TONIGHT.

TOMORROW FOR THE OWENS VALLEY: SUNNY. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 80S AND EVENING LOWS IN THE LOWER 50S. NORTHWEST WIND 5 - 15 MPH.

TODAY FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES: SUNNY WITH SOME GUSTY WINDS. HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 67 EVENING LOWS AROUND 41. WEST WIND 10 - 20 MPH GUSTING TO 30.

TOMORROW FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES: SUNNY SKIES. HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 65 AND EVENING LOWS AROUND 39. NORTHWEST WIND 5 - 15 MPH.

TODAY FOR MONO COUNTY: CLEAR SKIES AND A BIT WINDY. HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM 68 - 78 AND EVENING LOWS 35 - 45. WEST WIND 10 - 20 MPH GUSTING TO 35 WITH SOME RIDGE TOP GUSTS TO 60.

TOMORROW FOR MONO COUNTY: SUNNY. HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM 66 - 75 AND EVENING LOWS 34 -44. NORTHWEST WIND 10 - 15 MPH.
