FORECAST FOR THE OWENS VALLEY, MAMMOTH AND MONO COUNTY

THE FIRST IN A SERIES OF UPPER LEVEL TROUGHS IS MOVING THROUGH THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST TODAY. THIS SERIES OF LOWS WILL JUST BRUSH OUR AREA AND WILL EFFECT US THROUGH THE UPCOMING WEEKEND. THE WEATHER WILL BE SOMEWHAT UNSETTLED, TEMPS SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL AND GUSTY WINDS AT TIMES IN THE MOUNTAINS AND VALLEYS. RIGHT NOW, EXCEPT FOR POSSIBLE THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IN THE MOUNTAINS, THINGS LOOKS TO REMAIN DRY.

TODAY FOR THE OWENS VALLEY: SUNNY SKIES BECOMING PARTLY CLOUDY. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE MID 80S AND EVENING LOWS IN THE UPPER 40S. NORTHWEST WIND 5 - 15 MPH.

TOMORROW FOR THE OWENS VALLEY: MOSTLY SUNNY BECOMING PARTLY CLOUDY. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE MID 80S AND EVENING LOWS IN THE LOWER 50S. NORTHWEST WIND INCREASING TO 15 - 20 MPH GUSTING TO 30.

TODAY FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES: MOSTLY SUNNY. HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 63 AND EVENING LOWS AROUND 40. WEST WIND 5 - 10 MPH.

TOMORROW FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES: MOSTLY SUNNY BECOMING PARTLY CLOUDY. HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 65 AND EVENING LOWS AROUND 41. WEST WIND 10 - 20 GUSTING TO 30.

TODAY FOR MONO COUNTY: PARTLY SUNNY. HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM 66 - 76 AND EVENING LOWS 36 - 46. WEST WIND 10 - 15 MPH.

TOMORROW FOR MONO COUNTY: CLEAR SKIES BECOMING PARTLY CLOUDY. HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM 68 - 77 AND EVENING LOWS 36 -46. WEST WIND 15 - 25 MPH GUSTING TO 35 WITH SOME RIDGE TOP GUSTS TO 60.
