FORECAST FOR THE OWENS VALLEY, MAMMOTH AND MONO COUNTY

AN UPPER TROUGH ALONG THE WASHINGTON / OREGON BORDER WILL MOVE THROUGH THE NORTHERN REGIONS OF OUR FORECAST AREA TONIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY AND BRING WITH IT A CHANCE OF SNOW SHOWERS TO THE MONO COUNTY HIGH COUNTRY, PARTICULARLY OVER THE CREST. THE OWENS VALLEY HAS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF RAIN SHOWERS LATE THIS EVENING AS WELL. THAT TROUGH EXITS BY WEDNESDAY NIGHT SETTING UP DRY CONDITIONS AND SEASONAL TEMPERATURES THROUGH SUNDAY.

TODAY FOR BISHOP AND THE OWENS VALLEY: MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES BECOMING MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH A 20% CHANCE OF ISOLATED RAIN SHOWERS LATE TONIGHT. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER 70S AND EVENING LOWS IN THE LOW 40S. SOUTHWEST WIND 10 - 15 MPH.

TOMORROW FOR BISHOP AND THE OWENS VALLEY: MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 60S AND EVENING LOWS IN THE UPPER 30S. SOUTHWEST WIND 10 - 15 MPH GUSTING TO 23.

TODAY FOR MAMMOTH LAKES: PARTLY SUNNY BECOMING MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH A 40% CHANCE OF SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 45 AND EVENING LOWS AROUND 28. SOUTHWEST WIND 5 - 10 MPH BECOMING 15 - 20 GUSTING TO 30.

TOMORROW FOR MAMMOTH LAKES: PARTLY CLOUDY WITH A 30% CHANCE OF SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS DURING THE DAY BECOMING MOSTLY CLEAR IN THE EVENING. HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 41 AND EVENING LOWS AROUND 21. SOUTHWEST WIND 15 - 20 MPH GUSTING TO 30 BECOMING 5 - 15 MPH.

TODAY FOR MONO COUNTY: MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH SCATTERED RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS THIS EVENING. HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM 52 - 62 AND EVENING LOWS 26 - 36. SOUTHWEST WIND 10 - 15 MPH INCREASING TO 15 - 20 GUSTING TO 40 IN THE EVENING.

TOMORROW FOR MONO COUNTY: MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH ISOLATED SNOW SHOWERS BECOMING MOSTLY CLEAR LATER IN THE DAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM 43 - 53 AND EVENING LOWS 15 -25. SOUTHWEST WIND 15 - 25 GUSTING TO 40 WITH RIDGE TOP GUST TO 50.
