FORECAST FOR THE OWENS VALLEY, MAMMOTH AND MONO COUNTY

THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM BROUGHT US CLOUDY WEATHER AND A FEW SHOWERS IN THE HIGH COUNTRY HAS SPLIT ON TO THE SOUTHEAST. STILL SOME LINGERING UP SLOPE CLOUDS IN A FEW PLACES IN THE HIGH COUNTRY THIS MORNING BUT CLEARING SKIES AND WARMING TEMPS TODAY FOR BOTH MONO AND INYO COUNTIES. A FEW MORE DEGREES OF WARMING TOMORROW AS WELL. A WEAK SHORTWAVE WILL PASS THROUGH AND BRING US INCREASED WINDS ON FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY. THEN A DEEPER TROUGH IS SET TO SWING INTO CALIFORNIA IN THE MONDAY /TUESDAY TIME FRAME DROPPING TEMPS AND CREATING A CHANCE OF PRECIPT IN THE HIGH COUNTRY.

TODAY FOR BISHOP AND THE OWENS VALLEY: SUNNY SKIES. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER 70S AND EVENING LOWS IN THE MID 30S. NORTHEAST WIND 5 -10 MPH.

TOMORROW FOR BISHOP AND THE OWENS VALLEY: SUNNY BECOMING PARTLY CLOUDY. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER 70S AND EVENING LOWS IN THE MID 30S. SOUTHWEST WIND 10 - 15 MPH GUSTING TO 25.

TODAY FOR MAMMOTH LAKES: SUNNY BLUE SKIES. HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 46 AND EVENING LOWS AROUND 23. NORTH WIND 5 MPH.

TOMORROW FOR MAMMOTH LAKES: MOSTLY SUNNY BECOMING PARTLY CLOUDY. HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 51 AND EVENING LOWS AROUND 25. WEST WIND 10 - 15 MPH GUSTING TO 30.

TODAY FOR MONO COUNTY: PARTLY CLOUDY BECOMING MOSTLY SUNNY. HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM 43 - 53 AND EVENING LOWS 19 - 29. NORTH WIND 10 MPH.

TOMORROW FOR MONO COUNTY: SUNNY BECOMING PARTLY CLOUDY. HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM 54 -64 AND EVENING LOWS 21 -31. SOUTHWEST WIND 10 - 20 MPH GUSTING TO 30.
