FORECAST FOR THE OWENS VALLEY AND MAMMOTH AREA

LAST UPDATE: 7:20 AM PST NOV 14, 2007

HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO DOMINATE THE LOCAL WEATHER THROUGH FRIDAY. THIS WILL BRING MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES TODAY THEN AN INCREASE IN HIGH LEVEL CLOUDS BY THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY WITH DRY CONDITIONS AND ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES.

TODAY FOR BISHOP AND THE OWENS VALLEY: SUNNY SKIES. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER 70S AND LOWS IN THE MID 30S. NORTHWEST WIND 6 - 9 MPH.

TOMORROW FOR BISHOP AND THE OWENS VALLEY: MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER 70S AND LOWS IN THE MID 30S. NORTHWEST WIND 5 - 10 MPH.

TODAY FOR MAMMOTH LAKES AND THE MONO VALLEYS: MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE MID 50S FOR THE TOWN AND THE MID 60S FOR THE VALLEYS. LOW TEMPERATURE RANGE 23 - 33. NORTH WIND 10 MPH.

TOMORROW FOR MAMMOTH LAKES AND THE MONO VALLEYS: MOSTLY CLEAR TO PARTLY CLOUDY. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 50S FOR THE TOWN AND THE UPPER 60S FOR THE VALLEYS. LOW TEMPERATURE RANGE 24 - 34. SOUTH WIND 5 - 10 MPH

RIDGING CONTINUES THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK WITH TROUGHING KEPT UP IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST. SO, CONTINUED DRY CONDITIONS WITH SOME HIGH AND MID LEVEL CLOUDS FOR BOTH THE OWENS VALLEY AND THE HIGH COUNTRY. ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL PREVAIL THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND INTO MONDAY. THEN A COOLING TREND INTO THANKSGIVING DAY.
