THE UPPER LEVEL TROUGH THAT BROUGHT LIGHT SNOW TO MAMMOTH AND THE NORTHERN MONO COUNTY HIGH COUNTRY, ALONG WITH WINDY CONDITIONS TO THE ENTIRE AREA MOVES ON THIS AFTERNOON. RIDGING BUILDS IN ON THURSDAY BEFORE ANOTHER FAST MOVING TROUGH ARRIVES BY FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING.

TODAY FOR BISHOP AND THE OWENS VALLEY: MOSTLY SUNNY TODAY BECOMING PARTLY CLOUDY IN THE EVENING. BREEZY CONDITIONS THROUGH OUT THE DAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 67 AND LOW TEMPERATURES AROUND 37. NORTHWEST WIND 10 - 15 MPH GUSTING TO 30 BECOMING 5 -10 LATER IN THE DAY.

TOMORROW FOR BISHOP AND THE OWENS VALLEY: MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES BECOMING PARTLY CLOUDY. HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 68 AND LOW TEMPERATURES AROUND 39. NORTHWEST WIND 5 MPH.

TODAY FOR MAMMOTH AND THE MONO VALLEYS: MOSTLY CLOUDY BECOMING PARTLY CLOUDY. WINDY CONDITIONS AND A CHANCE OF ISOLATED SNOW SHOWERS IN THE MORNING. HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 48 FOR THE MAIN LODGE AND 58 FOR THE VALLEYS. LOW TEMPERATURE RANGE 26 - 37. WEST WIND 10 - 20 MPH GUSTING TO 35 MPH WITH RIDGE TOP GUSTS OF 85.

TOMORROW FOR MAMMOTH AND THE MONO VALLEYS: PARTLY CLOUDY. HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 55 FOR THE MAIN LODGE AND 65 FOR THE VALLEYS. LOW TEMPERATURE RANGE 27 - 38. WEST WIND 10 - 15 MPH GUSTING TO 30.

AS MENTIONED, ON FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY, WE SHOULD SEE ANOTHER SYSTEM MOVING ON THROUGH GIVING US A CHANCE OF RAIN AND SNOW IN THE HIGH COUNTRY AND RAIN SHOWERS IN THE VALLEYS, PARTICULARLY FROM MAMMOTH NORTH. THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF STRONG WINDS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYSTEM ON SATURDAY, BEHIND THE FRONT. A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE FINALLY BUILDS IN LATE SATURDAY THROUGH TUESDAY, GIVING US DRY WEATHER AND WARMING TEMPERATURES.
