THE THREAT OF THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP ALONG THE SIERRA CREST TODAY AND TOMORROW WITH A DAILY CYCLE OF AFTERNOON AND EVENING STORMS AND WIDESPREAD DEBRIS CLOUDS. WARMING CONDITIONS CONTINUE FOR THE VALLEYS WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF ISOLATED LIGHT SHOWERS.

TODAY FOR BISHOP AND THE OWENS VALLEY: PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES WITH A 30% CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS AND SHOWERS LATE MORNING AND AFTERNOON. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 90S AND EVENING LOWS IN THE LOWER 60S. SOUTHEAST WIND ABOUT 6 MPH.

WEDNESDAY FOR BISHOP AND THE OWENS VALLEY: PARTLY CLOUDY WITH A 20% CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS AND SHOWERS. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 90S AND LOWS IN THE LOWER 60S. SOUTHWEST WIND 4 - 7 MPH.

TODAY FOR MAMMOTH AND SURROUNDING AREA: PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH A 50% CHANCE OF SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS AND SHOWERS IN THE AFTERNOON. ISOLATED HEAVY RAIN POSSIBLE. HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 79 FOR THE MAIN LODGE AND 89 FOR THE MONO VALLEYS. LOW TEMPERATURE RANGE 57 - 67. SOUTHWEST WIND 7 - 10 MPH.

WEDNESDAY FOR MAMMOTH AND SURROUNDING AREA: MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS. ISOLATED PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN POSSIBLE. HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 78 FOR THE MAIN LODGE AND 88 FOR THE MONO VALLEYS. LOW TEMPERATURE RANGE 55 - 65. SOUTHWEST WIND 10 - 15 MPH.

TEMPERATURES WILL INCREASE A FEW DEGREES THROUGH THURSDAY BUT WILL VARY GREATLY DEPENDING ON WHICH AREAS RECEIVE SHOWERS AND CLOUD COVER. OVERNIGHT TEMPS WILL BE ABOVE NORMAL BECAUSE OF THE CLOUD COVER AND SHOWERS. A GRADUAL DRYING TREND WILL OCCUR FROM FRIDAY ONWARD.
