Siblings & Relatives on this forum?

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Siblings & Relatives on this forum?

Post by Allyn »

A recent trip report of mine on the Backpacking forum sparked some replies from my two brothers. It got me thinking about how many other relatives and siblings share interest in High Sierra Topix. My family has three brothers, all of which have done backpacking from early years on and have posted on this board.

While I know we are all an extended family here (I'm the distant cousin that just isn't right :retard: ) are there any other families who post here?

I'm an only.

The rest of my family thinks a backcountry wilderness excursion is staying at a hotel without room service.

I came from a really big family (13 kids) and we grew up camping and backpacking.... but I'm one of the few that continued these activity as an adult.

One older sister likes to backpack ocasionally, and a younger sister likes to dayhike a lot.... she's in amazing shape, she and her husband just don't like backpacking. If either of them are on the board, they're incognito
