Tuesday for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Sunny skies. Daytime high temperatures around 105 again and evening lows in the upper 50s. Light wind.

The heat wave will continue through the rest of the week, with the hottest temps mostly likely coming on Thursday and Friday. So, Mammoth will see temps in the upper 80s and the Owens Valley in the mid to upper 100s by weeks end. Humidity levels will also continue to remain quite low through the week. There is still a slight chance of high based isolated thunderstorm activity beginning on or about Independence Day. Right now, it looks like a gradual weakening the ridge over the weekend with temps starting to show a slow decline.
