Stair climber geography

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Stair climber geography

Post by c9h13no3 »

I'm covering the weekend for work, so while I hope you're all out there gettin' some, here's some humorous geography from the stair climber at the gym.

2 out of 6 ain't bad, right? I suppose I shouldn't complain, since they're some of my favorite areas even if the geography isn't right.

So do the hikes take you to those places? Is Mono Lake recognizable? Where are the climbs at Mono Lake anyway?
Check our our website: http://www.backpackthesierra.com/
Or just read a good mystery novel set in the Sierra; https://www.amazon.com/Danger-Falling-R ... 0984884963

Yeah, the video screen does wander through those places, usually not far from the trail head. It's funny to see other hikers gawk at "you" (the camera equipment). And yeah, the Mono lake one is really flat, but you're walking up stairs anyway.
