Rock Creek Board

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

"Account Suspended" message.
Hopefully this is just temporary.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

It came up the other day for me also. I was going to give it a few days. I still frequent it. I'll ask via FB a fellow member that was well connected about it and get back. It hope it doesn't go away just this year I met 2 board members in the Sierra this year and 2 separate trips. It was easier to meet them in the front range as compared to people here in the backcountry.

I noticed the outage, too. I've appreciated the quality of discourse on the Rock Creek board.

Good luck with the rebuilding!

Was there no backup of the forum database?

I hope this forum is backed up.
