Weird event

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

But if you can't find it, is it still an in reach?

What do you think your wife would do if she got a text with the # sign pressed like 400 times while the button was being gnawed on?

Racoons are pretty curious creatures...
Teenagers are too- they're attracted to gadgets, and will eat just about anything!

No Matt didn't do it. Though I did ask him. He's not a teenager but a 32 year old man. It would of been pretty difficult to put it where I found it in the middle of the night without throwing it there. I was up first too. If it was Bigfoot he/she could have asked and I would have shown him/her how it works in exchange for a photo. Did not see any signs of marmots in the area but there was one pesky golden mantled ground squirrel around our camp but it hard to believe it could move the locator as far away as I found it. No chewing marks either!

Who can't do everything he used to and what he can do takes a hell of a lot longer!

It was definately Bigfoot. When he teleports to another dimension the PLB just falls to the ground. You would think he would know this by now
