An Eastern Pacific ridge will try to build in over the West Coast for the next few days. Temperatures will gradually be on the rise giving us a warming trend into at least Saturday.

Today for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Sunny skies. Daytime temps in the lower 80s and evening lows in the mid 40s. Southeast wind 10 mph.

Tomorrow for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Sunny skies once again. Daytime temps in the upper 80s and evening lows in the mid 40s. South wind 10 mph.

Today for Mammoth & the Mono Valleys: Sunny blue skies becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon. High temperature range upper 60s for the Main Lodge and upper 70s for the Mono Valleys. Low temp range 30 - 40. West wind 10 - 15 mph.

Tomorrow for Mammoth & the Mono Valleys: Sunny. High temperature range lower 70s for the Main Lodge and lower 80s for the Mono Valleys. Low temp range 33 - 43. Southwest wind 10 mph.

Shortwave energy dropping over the ridge will help keep temperatures somewhat in check for the Memorial Day weekend. I expect daytime temps to be in the low 90s for the Owens Valley on Sunday/Monday and in the mid 70s at the Main Lodge in Mammoth. We will probably see cumulus buildup over the Crest each afternoon, particularly from Sunday onward and I can't rule out the possibility of thunderstorm activity. Other wise dry conditions will prevail through at least Monday.
