My Favorite Hypothetical Question

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

rhyang- are you doing to write a trip report of the Henry Coe trip? I had a 5-day trip planned and then got stuck all week on standby for jury duty. I fear that by next week it is going to be too hot and dry. Each year I try to do a get-in-shape trip at Henry Coe.

It was absolutely glorious -- green hills, wildflowers, active fish. I will try to set aside some time to post pics, but long story short I think you have a good few weeks at least. I go all year long, but my sanity is somewhat in question :)

BTW The Dowdy Ranch entrance should open the weekend after next. Backcountry Weekend is this next weekend, same as the fishing opener, and will be a zoo.
