A ridge of high pressure over the Western US will remain stationary today bringing with it mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures.

Today for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Sunny skies with daytime temps in the mid 80s and evening lows in the lower 40s. South wind 10 mph.

Today for Mammoth and the Mono Valleys: Sunny blue skies. Daytime temps 66 - 76 and evening lows 25 - 35. Southwest wind 10 - 15 mph.

Tuesday for Bishop & the Owens Valley: Partly sunny skies turning mostly cloudy in the evening. High temps in the mid 80s and lows in the lower 40s. South wind 10 - 15 mph in the afternoon.

Tuesday for Mammoth and the Mono Valleys: Partly cloudy turning mostly cloudy in the evening. Slight chance of snow showers later in the day. High temperature range 65 - 75 and lows 27 - 37. Breezy conditions with southwest 15 - 25 gusting to 40 mph in the afternoon.

The ridge will flatten on Tuesday as an Eastern Pacific weather system positions itself over the West Coast. A cold front associated with this system will give the High Country a chance of snow showers into Wednesday. There is the possibility of Advisory Winds on Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday. A longwave trough will then make its way south eastward Friday creating a chance of snow showers in the High Country and rain showers in the Valleys. It will be noticeably cooler starting on Wednesday and stay just below seasonal norms through the weekend.
