heard a new outdoor slang term today -- adult oriented

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

heard a new outdoor slang term today -- adult oriented

Post by dave54 »

On a UK trekkers site I ran across the term 'dogging' for a couple engaging in sexual activity in the woods. I knew of that one. We called it 'horizontal recreation'. Today one of the correspondents used the phrase 'teddy bear picnic' for activity involving more than two people. I had not heard of it before. Must be UK slang.

Anyone else heard that phrase before? Keep answers family friendly as possible.
